Plastic Free Packaging

Our new packaging is biodegradable.

We don’t use plastic bags, tags or stickers for our clothing packaging. We want to be as eco friendly as possible by using recycled and biodegradable materials.

What is Biodegradable plastic?

Biodegradable plastic is plastic that decomposes naturally in the environment. This is achieved when microorganisms in the environment metabolize and break down the structure of biodegradable plastic. The end result is one which is less harmful to the environment than traditional plastics.

Our Cornstarch bags are biodegradable and compostable.

How long does it take for biodegradable plastic to biodegrade?

Biodegradable plastics take three to six months to decompose fully. That’s much quicker than synthetic counterparts that take several hundred years. Exactly how long a biodegradable bag takes to break down depends on various factors, such as temperature and the amount of moisture present.

Our hangtags and business cards are made from recycled and FSC certified paper.

• Shipping and packaging:

We use cardboard envelopes and boxes, made from recycled paper or from responsible sources with the FSC certification*. To seal the package we don’t use plastic tape but a recycled paper tape. Every little bit helps!

*FSC certification can positively impact workers and communities, governance can be shift globally, and change in economic and environmental conditions in the forest. Products with the FSC label are identified as products with their roots from well-managed forests.
