Living in Costa Rica

Live by the sun and the tide

I chose to live my life close to the Ocean, so I’m able to connect with nature and surf every single day. City life just isn’t for me. So glad I found a chill little surf town in Costa Rica: Playa Dominical. Starting the day when the sun comes up, long beach walks with my dog on low tide, surf sessions on mid-high tide, being surrounded by beautiful green nature, flowers, birds and butterflies all day: it’s the best feeling there is. PURA VIDA!

the pura vida lifestyle

Life is chill.. People are friendly and nobody is in a hurry. They may not be ‘rich’ in terms of money, but everybody is happy and content with what they have. Good vibes all around! Live from what Mother Nature gives us: there is an abundance of banana trees, papayas, mangos, cacao, coconuts and fresh fish caught by the local fishermen. Add a puppy and a daily surf session and life is as good as it gets here! What more do you need?

sunshine & palmtrees

You can spend all day outside. It is always around 30 degrees, and the ocean is warm as well! Go for a surf, chill in your hammock, drink a Pipa Fria (coconut!) practise your yoga on the beach, meet your friends at sunset. Go sleep early so you can enjoy the sunrise the next day..

Life is what you make of it! Live the life you love..

Pura Vida Mae!
